About the Lanier Striped Bass Coalition
Information about the Lanier Striped Bass Coalition (LSBC)
The LSBC was conceived in the spring & summer of 2011, by a concerned group of stakeholders in the Lake Sidney Lanier Striped Bass Fishery. This group included professional fishing guides, bait & tackle retailers, various striper club members and recreational anglers. It was agreed upon that an umbrella organization that could help coordinate the efforts of all the various Lake Lanier Striped Bass Fishery stakeholders with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources/Wildlife Resoucrces Division was needed.
The Mission Statement for the Lanier Striped Bass Coalition is as follows:
To lead in the conservation and preservation of striped bass on Lake Lanier and to be a participating and active partner with all levels of government in successfully maintaining a thriving and healthy population of striped bass on Lake Lanier.
